Can't believe we did it!
We went out in force this weekend and scrapped everywhere!
Got $30 in tin and cans and got $70+ in steel, iron, dead car batteries and other metal.
Made the water payment! Now we're going to keep going so we can get up a bit more to bank for the bills next month. (Or any unplanned costs that come up this month)
Thankfully, people are litter bugs and wasteful that they just dump stuff - just wish we could find a bunch of copper, that would really bring in some extra funds!
Well, I'm beat yet so I'm going to go lay down for a while. Catch up with you all later on.
You are welcome and I was thinking of my friend with his friends too bad they don't live near you for on the holidays I can't believe the booze they buy and go through. That would give you extra cash. I bet this weekend with the partying going on, you will find more bottles. I hope one of the jobs listed either with womenforehire.com or Tina's pays out for you. And the other has many listings
I applied for this and a month ago sent me an email about how much easier it is to use if you applied before
It is a site for jobs for people with disabilities. and google.com disabilitydigest as I got emails from them and hanks55 told me about them as we stay in contact off the site. He has a hard time getting back in here and I tried to help by posting it to the right people here I don't know what is going on with his computer so once in a while I hear from him.
There are jobs you can do on line but not sure if they want ID and TinalynnLove here and others put together some here. Womenforhire.com has good jobs so does homejobstop.com. I joined the latter
a lady from Kentucky that use to be active here Dreynolds told me about this one and I signed up and haven't completed the all tests to do work with them yet. Other things came up but she got jobs and was paid good with them while the work was there.
in response to friendshelpingfriends...Got another $50 last monday...but not sure about this next one. Running out of places to go...lol
Maybe this weekend will give up some good supply of cans.
Need to find work to do online for son so he doesn't have to worry about IDs and such. Wish I knew where companies would recruit clerk jobs online...a lot of that kind of work can be done anywhere.
I know what you mean..... I can't tell you how many times the cans have saved us.... I collect them on a regular basis. My Dad, who is 74, goes with me. He takes one side of the street, I take the other and we just get out and start collecting.
